The allure of Chicago is completely understandable. Located in
the middle of the country amongst corn fields and pressed up
against Lake Michigan, this fast paced action packed city is
full of excitement. The winters are cold, but the summers are
hot and fun-filled. There is more to do in Chicago, than someone
could possibly complete in a lifetime.
But, for those travelers interested in seeing some of Chicago's
favorite sites through its residents' eyes, please read on.

Traveling is a great way to escape the rat race and experience
new cultures and places. Alas, your experiences can fade with
time. The best way to prevent this is to keep a travel journal
for your trips.
Travel Journals
Take a minute to give some consideration to your most recent
trip. What sticks out in your mind? Now think about the first
trip you ever took. Undoubtedly, you remember few things about
the trip. The experiences you've forgotten are lost to time. If
you had kept a journal, ...

When you choose to travel, you take the risk of lost luggage,
flight cancellations, reservation cancellations, theft and many
other situations which may cause anxiety. Planning a vacation is
stressful enough without having to worry about something going
horribly wrong. Purchasing
travel
insurance will ensure that you are compensated if anything
goes wrong on your trip. When trying to determine whether or not
to purchase travel insurance, keep in mind the points listed

Canada is one of the celebrated countries of the world. The
second largest country in the world has unique blend of
French-English culture. With plenty of worth watching cities,
the country is not densely populated. The cities of Canada have
their own magnificence and grandeur that magnetizes people round
the globe.
The Land of Provinces
The vast area of the country along with variation in flora and
fauna varies in other attractions too. The different provinces
have the aura that leaves no ...

Traveling is different now than it was before 9/11. Arriving at
the airport even earlier than before, standing in line longer
while waiting to pass through security, having luggage x-rayed,
and being pulled aside for random security checks make the time
it takes to travel more lengthy than it used to be. Planning
ahead can shave off a few minutes here and there and hopefully
make your travels less frustrating. Here are some things I have
found to be helpful when traveling:
* Make a list. Other ...

Think Cuba, and vivid images come to mind: of men in Guayabera
shirts and Panama hats, tropical breezes and cool drinks, steamy
Latin rhythms and sultry women. It has always been an intriguing
place, steeped in truth and in fiction by the novels of Ernest
Hemingway.
In the pre-Revolution Batista days, Cuba was the sin capital of
the Americas, a wild haunt of mobsters, corrupt politicians,
loose women and petty thieves, all vying to stake their claim to
a share of the profits from gambling, ...

So you've made up your mind that you are going on a family
vacation. And the next question is ~ where to? There are many
places for a family vacation but not all of them will have what
you need for an enjoyable trip. Since you are going together
with your children, they will need to be the key point to
consider if you are all to have a great vacation.
A frequent choice for family vacations with children is Las
Vegas or Reno in Nevada. In my view, these are less than ideal
-- these cities are ...

Flying can be an adventure, but like everything else in life,
there are small risks. Even though flying is the safest way to
travel in this modern age, here are some tips to minimize any
unfortunate, but unlikely event of an emergency situation.
' Try to only fly nonstop routings
Takeoff, climb, descent, and landing phases of flights have the
most occurrences of accidents. To reduce these risks reduce the

"Do you know about Wal-Mart camping?" We didn't know, but the
old man at the campground in Florida insisted WalMart not only
allowed RVs and vans to park overnight, but encouraged it. "Free
camping," he told us, and we didn't wait long to take advantage
of this new knowledge.
Somewhere in northern Georgia we pulled into a Wal-Mart, and
sure enough, we saw some RVs off to one side of the parking lot,
looking like they were there for the night. We were heading back
to Michigan in our conversion ...
